Marsh Creek, LLC is owned by Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation (51%) and SolstenXP Inc. (49%). Formed in 2004, it has successfully graduated from the SBA 8(a) program and established itself as a competitive leader in the areas of construction, energy systems, environmental contracting and telecommunications in Alaska, the Lower 48, and the Pacific.  

At Marsh Creek we value the company’s Alaska Native roots and strive to bring a culture of honesty, inclusion and excellence to everything we do.  

Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation 

The Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation (KIC) is the Village Corporation established pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Act of 1971. Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation was established in 1973 and owns approximately 92,000 acres of surface lands in and around the community. All of the corporation’s land is within ANWR. The Corporation is located within the geographic region encompassed by the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation. KIC derives the majority of its revenue from investment earnings on its investment in affiliates. The primary business activities of the Corporation are the operation of a general store, fuel sales, light vehicle and related parts sales, general construction, the management of property and rights received under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and participation in other business partnerships. 

SolstenXP Inc. 

SolstenXP is a project life cycle petroleum engineering and natural resource services company with headquarter in Anchorage, Alaska. The Company was founded in October 1993 as Fairweather E&P Services, Inc. which was one of several Fairweather companies at the time. After a partner buyout in 2009, the Company name was changed to SolstenXP Inc.

The Company’s primary service suite was initially project management and supervision for drilling operations in Alaska and has grown to include additional services such as contract drilling engineering and supervision, production operations, remote well abandonment, offshore operations and other upstream special project supporting the oil and gas industry.
